robalcanlfort Because Death is perfect. Favorite track: Spirit Crusher.
Machine Head

Machine Head Covers all of Death's albums, so a great overview of how quickly Chuck developed over a period of a decade. Favorite track: Pull the Plug.
Ending Circles

Ending Circles Nothing new on here since this is just the Live in LA and Live in Eindhoven recordings with a different artwork and a little pimped sound but you need to have it anyway. The last official live recordings with Chuck are raw unpolished and in your face and after all these years Chuck is still the best guitar player in the world for me. I miss this man and new music from him so much. One of Metal's pioneers and a true loss. Let the metal flow. Favorite track: Flesh and the Power It Holds.

about

‘Vivus!’ captures two stunning full concerts of the final lineup of metal pioneers Death in one deluxe double-cd package. Disc One features the band at the height of their prowess tearing the roof off of the infamous Whisky A Go-Go in Los Angeles while Disc Two is a brilliant recording of the band on the festival stage at Dynamo Open Air. Stacked with brand new liner notes from Death drummer Richard Christy and the band’s long-time manager Eric Greif as well as newly unearthed photos of the band, ‘Vivus!’ is more than just an artifact from one of heavy-metal’s true legends, it is pair of discs that sit confidently next to Death’s untouchable catalog of albums.
